Jay was the 11th presenter and she presented about the other country that I don’t really familiar with-Somalia-the other Islamic country that 99% of the residents are Muslim. الصومال is the Arabic term for Somalia. Somalia has a simple flag-just blue and white star in the middle. However, I’m really sure that it has significance meaning. She started with the introduction about the country, the historical background conflicts and opinion about the country. The capital city is Mogadishu and they used TFG or Transitional Federal Government to govern the country. Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed is the President and the Prime Minister is Nur Hassan Hussien. Somali are divided into 6 major clans.1960 was the most significance year for people there because it was the year when Somalia became independent. As other country discussed before, Somalia also faced with many conflicts. The Somali civil war (1993), clan warfare (1993-Present) and the Ethiopia- Somalia war (2006-Present) were some conflicts there. Conflict happen anywhere, anytime. There is no challenge without conflict.
