Last Monday, when I enter the class I was so surprised. Not even half of the class attended; maybe the rest of the class didn’t return from kampong yet …anyway how about your holiday?? huhu..
Let us move on to the discussion. One of my teammate for this blog, Sis Wahidah presented about Republic of Turkey, the other Muslim country that I quite familiar with. Hatice, our classmate is from Turkey, so she had added some point that relevant to the presentation.
Ankara is the capital city in Turkey and the largest city is Istanbul. 99.8% of the citizen is Muslim and Turkish is the main ethnic group there. Turkey was independence on May 19, 1919, which is almost 90 years. As other Muslim country that had been presented in the class, turkey also faced many conflicts. Muslim there has to fight to practice Islam even 99.8% are Muslim. Maybe it is because the existence of 2 different classes; Muslim and secular elite. For example, student in government school and universities are forbid to wear scaft. Hatice said that President is only just for symbol and PM is more powerful than President.
So….what are the good things in her presentation? Heeeeemmmm, I think…
good introduction
provide detail information
voice
look confident

What she can improve is don’t put too many point in the slide. When there are too many points in the slide, she just read it and definitely will affect her eye contact and make her talk too fast (and affect her pronunciation). So, moral of the story: don’t put too many point in the slide..huhuhuu
